Book Review - Love on the Brain by Ali Hazelwood
Love on the Brain by Ali Hazelwood
Started off the year of 2023 with another read by Ali Hazelwood. I went into it expecting it to be similar to The Love Hypothesis so it didn’t surprise me to see so many similarities between the two. At some parts I will say that I felt as though I was reading the same book again, but except for those parts, I thought this book was still fairly original and entertaining. In this book we have Bee, a Ph.D. graduate working for NIH who is paired up as co-leader of a project with her grad school enemy, Levi, who she thinks has hated her for years. Based on the cover, I don’t think it’s a spoiler if I say that she’s got it all wrong. I thought that Bee and Levi are a better match for each other than the couple in The Love Hypothesis, which is part of why I finished reading this book in 2 sittings. I really enjoyed reading this book and it was a good way to start off 2023.
