Book Review - Crown of Blood and Ruin by LJ Andrews
Crown of Blood and Ruin by LJ Andrews
So this is the finale of the story of Valen and Elise, and I wasn't disappointed. This book was much more centered around the strategy and violence that comes along with being the King or Queen, but it was a welcomed change from the previous books.
The war plot was really well done in this book, but it sometimes felt a bit repetitive. Despite this, I did still enjoy reading this book and enjoyed the new characters. This final book in the story of Valen and Elise ties up their story perfectly.
Although the ending was completely predictable, it was a touching way to end the novel. And there were many points leading up to the end that were surprising plot twists.
I did enjoy reading this series but will not be interested in reading the subsequent books that focus on the four fated queens.
