Book Review - Finding Cinderella by Colleen Hoover
Finding Cinderella by Colleen Hoover
I read this novella over the course of a week during my lunch breaks at work and each day I couldn't wait to see what would happen next. The main character of this book is Daniel. Daniel has a random encounter with a mystery girl in a dark closet at school where they agree to profess their make-believe love to each other for ONLY an hour. After that, they will go their own ways. Daniel nicknames her Cinderella after she rushes out of the closet after their hour is up. A year later, after Daniel is fed up with his love-less relationships he meets a girl named Six who turns all his beliefs on love upside down.
I loved Daniel and Six's relationship in this book. Their love was so genuine and natural. Colleen Hoover has an amazing ability to write relationships and characters in a way that makes them feel so real. I love that her stories don't have this perfect happily-ever-after love that so many romance novels seem to have.
This was a charming read and I can't wait to read more by CoHo.
