Series Review - Reached by Ally Condie

Reached Series by Allie Condie

After not being as invested in reading since I started college, I decided to start reading again in August 2022. I finished my first series of 2022, which ended up being the Matched series by Ally Condie. I rate the whole series as a 4.5/5. I love the characters, plot, and messages conveyed. I found it easier to read Matched and Crossed than Reached, but the series wraps up very nicely with Reached. The ideas of dystopian societies, rebels, escapes, plagues, and cures make these books addicting. This series reminded me of The Giver, but I really enjoy those books as well so I didn't mind. All the characters in the Matched series are really relatable and you'll find yourself rooting for them the entire time that you're reading. Once you start it, you won’t want to put it down.
