This book is the fourth installment of the Plated Prisoner series and I’m warning you now that the cliffhanger at the end will have you kicking, screaming, and punching the air. As soon as I got to the second to last chapter I knew exactly how the story would end but I didn’t want to believe it. I’m not exaggerating when I say that I’ll need a few days to recover from reading this book. 

And on top of everything, the fifth book in the series wont come out until December 7th for the final installment to be released. I don’t know how I’ll be able to survive until then. 

Each addition to this series has been better and better. In this book we’re shown more of Slade’s background and history. We gain a better understanding of who he is and why he is the way he is. We also finally see Auren blossom which is something I’ve been waiting for since the beginning of this series. So much happens in this book and I just can’t say enough good things about it.

Needless to say, I will anxiously be awaiting the fifth and final installment of the Plated Prisoner series, Gold, which will be released on December 7.
